FBI Questions Shop Owner Over Marathon Bomb Battery

Questions were about recent sales of the Tenergy battery, which authorities say was used in the marathon bomb.

The owner of Inside and Out Hobbies on Amherst Street was questioned by the FBI, asking questions about a particular toy car battery, a Tenergy battery, which has been linked to the bombs that exploded at the Boston Marathon on April 15, WMUR reports.

The battery, manufactured in California, has been identified by authorities as having been used in at least one of the explosives that rocked the Boston Marathon.

Shop owner Greg Faith told WMUR that the last time he sold one of the batteries in question was in February. Tenergy told WMUR that several New England retailers of the battery have pulled a customer list going back 15 months.
