Fire in Third Floor Apartment Threatens Adjoining Businesses

Nashua Fire crews reponded to a fire at 6.5 Broad Street in a small apartment adjacent to the Flower Outlet and Hudson Trophy, near the corner of Broad and Amherst Streets, across from Milano's House of Pizza. 

The fire was reported just after 4 p.m. Occupants evacuated the apartment without incident, a fire official at the scene said. 

Fire was contained to one room. The city fire marshal will investigate the cause of the fire.

Due to heavy smoke damage, occupants cannot return to the apartment immediately.
