UPDATE: No Injuries in Early Morning Condo Fire
Fire crews responded to a basement fire at Meadowview Estates this morning.

UPDATE: A basement fire at Meadowview Estates forced an early-morning evacuation of residents Monday.
Crews from the Spitbrook Road Station arrived just after 5 a.m. April 23 to find smoke coming from the middle unit of the five-unit 2-1/2 story building at 9 Cadogan Way.
Fire officials said heavy smoke and intense heat in the basement stairwell created an extra challenge for crews, as they made their way down to extinguish the blaze.
