MANCHESTER, NH — The New Hampshire Tech Alliance (NHTA) has announced the five finalists for its 16th annual Product of the Year (POY) Competition.

The five POY candidates, which were chosen by a panel of judges, have been developed over the last 12 months by a New Hampshire-based company. The companies with products in the final five are: Geophysical Survey Systems in Nashua, Mikros Technologies in Claremont, Corflex in Manchester, Driver Technologies in Newmarket and Skyhawk in Derry.

On Oct. 12, each company will have a chance to present its product during a virtual event stream live on the NHTA's YouTube page. The 7-minute presentations will last from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. and the winner will be selected based on votes cast by viewers.

The event also will feature an in-person component. From 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. that day, a Watch Party and Networking Event will be held at Tupelo Music Hall in Derry.

"Our Product of the Year judges had their work cut out for them this year. We were blown away by the quality of our applicants," said Julie Demers, executive director of the NHTA. "This year's hybrid event format will allow more people to cast their vote and help us name a winner while also allowing Alliance members to connect in person with some of the most innovative companies in New Hampshire.
