'Fugitive of the Week' Charged in Feb. Child Rape Case
A child victim identified Hannon as the man who sexually assaulted her.

NASHUA - Anthony Hannon, 44, no fixed address, was arrested April 23 on a number of active arrest warrants. Hannon is being charged with two counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault, a class A felony.
Hannon was featured last week as the U.S. Marshals "Fugitive of the Week."
Hannon also had an outstanding capias out of the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department, for non-payment of child support, as well outstanding bench warrants for failure to appear at arraignment on an assortment of class A misdemeanor driving charges, resisting arrest and possession of a controlled drug, out of the 9th Circuit Nashua District Court.

On February 6, 2013 at approximately 2 p.m. detectives in the Youth Services Division received a report of a sexual assault. The juvenile female victim, under the age of 13, reported that she had been sexually assaulted at a Nashua residence by an adult male subject known to her.
A subsequent investigation by detectives in the Youth Services Division revealed that Hannon was the person responsible for the sexual assaults.

A Class A Felony is punishable by up to 15 years imprisonment in state prison, exclusive of fines for each count. A class A Misdemeanor is punishable by up to one year in County Jail, exclusives of fines for each count. Hannon was held on $30,000 cash bail pending arraignment in the 9th Circuit Nashua District Court on April 24, 2013.
