Gate City Charter School for the Arts has announced its proposed location.
The charter school will be located at 591 West Hollis St., a property currently owned by Dartmouth-Hitchcock. It is scheduled to open later this year.
The school announced on its Facebook page Monday that the building is in the process of changing owners. The new owner plans to renovate the former medical facility to meet the needs of an elementary public charter school.
"This real estate development group is interested in working with our Board of Trustees to bring the Gate City Charter School for the Arts to Nashua. We have been under the advisement of a professional contractor and have worked with an architect to draw plans for the renovations. We couldn't be more excited for this location!"
The charter school also held its K-4 enrollment lottery on Monday. Enrollment packets and wait list letters this week. Complete enrollment packets must be returned by May 1 to reserve your seat. The wait list will also be kept on the school's website.
