Firefighters Battle Fire In Multi-Unit Building On Palm Street
Firefighters could see smoke while en route to the fire Thursday. Heavy fire was showing in the rear of the building upon their arrival.
NASHUA, NH — Nashua firefighters responded to a reported building fire on Palm Street at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. While en route, they had smoke showing and upon, arrival heavy fire and smoke were showing from the rear of the multi-family structure. NFR Deputy Chief Gerhard called for a working fire bringing additional apparatus and personnel to the scene.
Firefighters searched the building making sure all occupants were out of the building. Firefighters were notified of a dog still in the building and searched and located it bringing it to the owner. The owner clenched the dog while speaking to fire investigators about the fire.
AMR of Nashua came to the assistance of a firefighter who was transported from the scene to Southern NH Medical Center and was being evaluated.

The location of the fire contains three connected structures all with separate addresses on Palm Street.
At this time the cause and origin of the fire is undetermined.
