Which Hudson Businesses Passed Alcohol Compliance Check?
Two out of 19 businesses checked failed by serving alcohol to minors.

On April 4, 2013 Hudson Police Department and the State of New Hampshire’s Bureau of Liquor Enforcement conducted alcohol compliance checks of 19 restaurants/bars that serve alcoholic beverages.
The compliance check operation resulted in 17 establishments passing and two failing.
A compliance check is an investigation to ensure that alcohol is not being sold to minors. A buyer under the age of 21 enters a restaurant/bar and attempts to purchase an alcoholic beverage. The underage buyer is instructed to show their actual identification, if asked. The buyer is also instructed not to misrepresent their age in any way. If the business sells alcohol to the minor, a Hudson officer and a Bureau of Liquor Enforcement officer enter the business and make contact with the server as well as the business owner. The violation is explained, and a court summons is issued to the seller for prohibited sales NH RSA 179:5 (class B misdemeanor).
