Hudson Man Charged With Burglary, Assault After Entering Nashua Home
Police said Peter Zakos entered the home of a female acquaintance, physically confronted a male and damaged property.
NASHUA, NH — A Hudson man was arrested Monday in Nashua after police said he entered the home of a female acquaintance, physically confronted an adult male and damaged property.
Peter Zakos, 49, was charged with burglary, a Class A felony, two counts of assault, a Class A misdemeanor, and four counts of criminal mischief, a Class A misdemeanor, the Nashua police said.
A Class A felony is punishable by up to 15 years in state prison.

Zakos was held in preventative detention and was scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday at the Hillsborough County Superior Court-South.
According to police reports, on Monday, members of the NPD's Uniform Field Operations Bureau responded to a call about an assault involving the suspect.

By the time officers arrived at the scene, the suspect had fled, the NPD said. The department's Special Investigations Division opened an investigation, according to the NPD.
Police said that during the investigation they learned that Zakos had entered the home of a female acquaintance without permission, physically confronted a male at the home and damaged several pieces of property.
An arrest warrant was issued for Zakos, who later turned himself in at the Nashua Police Department, according to the NPD.
