Hudson Police Investigate Break-In at Baseball Field

Police are following leads in the burglary, discovered Saturday morning.

Hudson Police are investigating a break-in at a Hudson Youth Baseball field, discovered June 8.

At about 10 a.m. police responded to a call at 13 Water Street, known as Lions Field, for a reported burglary at the concession stand. Upon arrival it was discovered that someone stacked up picnic tables against the front of the concession stand and used the structure to enter the second-floor of the building.

Once inside they took an undetermined amount of cash from the register.

Police were able to gather some evidence at the site.

No major damage was done to the inside of the building. The Hudson Youth Baseball operates the concession stand to raise funds for equipment and to pay for the lights at the Greeley Street field, police said.
