Woman Allegedly Hits, Runs, Gets Arrested for Stalking

Police said Nancy Williams was driving on a suspended license when she struck another vehicle in a parking lot.

Nancy Williams, 44, of Hudson, was arrested June 1, charged with stalking, driving after suspension and conduct after an accident, all misdemeanors, following a hit-and-run accident in the parking lot of the White Birch banquet hall, 222 Central St., Hudson.

At approximately 8:55 p.m., Hudson Police  responded to the parking lot of the White Birch for a report of a woman involved in a hit-and-run, later identified as Williams.

Witnesses told police the woman was driving a 2001 Dodge pick-up truck when she struck a parked motor vehicle, identified as a 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The  pick-up truck driver then fled on foot.

Hudson Police officers, with the assistance of a Londonderry police dogs, began searching the areas located near the White Birch. At 10:45 p.m., the female driver was arrested at a residence near the White Birch.  

Williams was released on $3,000 surety bail until her arraignment at the 9th Circuit Court – Nashua Division on  June 20, 2013.
