Meanwhile, Melissa Blais, who uses a motorized chair to navigate downtown, says she loves the newly installed surface – primarily because the old brick sidewalks continue to pose a hazard for her.

"I fell out of my chair a couple days ago," said Blais, during a casual conversation with Nashua Patch on Main Street over the weekend, about mobility issues downtown.
