Kathryn Frohman: Loving Mother, Grandmother, Painter, Animal Lover

Kathryn (Lee) Frohman, 70, of Nashua, passed away peacefully following a lengthy battle with cancer at St. Joseph Hospital on August 26, 2013, with her family at her side.

Readers may remember that Mrs. Frohman was recently featured in Nashua Patch in a story that ran Aug. 26, 2013.

She was born in Chicago, IL, on August 17, 1943, a daughter of the late Robert E. and Kathryn (Winke) Lee. She grew up in Chicago and studied Art at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Mrs. Frohman was the widow of L. Todd Frohman, who died on October 24, 1998.

She is remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Mrs. Frohman loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed making art and was well known for her paintings of flowers and nature. Mrs. Frohman was also known for wearing flowers in her hair, a tribute to her deceased husband. She loved all things nature and loved being in New Hampshire, from the seacoast to the mountains.

Mrs. Frohman was an active member of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Nashua.

Besides her parents and husband, Mrs. Frohman was also predeceased by her daughter, Jennifer Kate Frohman.

Survivors include her three sons and two daughters-in-law: Robert and Beth Frohman of Hudson; Matt and Jennifer Frohman of Brewster, NY; and Sean Frohman of Portsmouth; three grandchildren, Garrett, Megan and Ben; her brother Dr. John F. Lee of St. Petersburg, FL; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Cornelia and Robert Santomenna of So. Freeport, ME; and her “grand dog” Bailey.

SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held at the Davis Funeral Home, One Lock St., Nashua, on Friday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 214 Main St., Nashua on Saturday morning at 11 a.m. Interment prayers and burial for Kathryn, her husband and daughter will be private and held at the convenience of the family at Harmony Grove Cemetery, Portsmouth.
