Kitchen Fire Shuts Down Bertucci's
The restaurant will remain closed until at least Wednesday.

A kitchen fire caused the Bertucci's, 406 Amherst St., to be evacuated Tuesday morning.
Nashua Fire Department Engine 5 arrived at about 9:15 a.m. to find an active fire burning in the wall behind the stainless steel wall covering inside the restaurant kitchen. Engine 5 extinguished the fire with a pressurized water extinguisher.
The fire was discovered by Bertucci's staff members who called 911.

Fire officials said this quick notification helped fire crews to fully extinguish and overhaul the fire area and prevented widespread damage to the remainder of the building.
The restaurant will remain closed until June 5 at the earliest.
