Man Allegedly Tried to Steal Wine from 7-Eleven

Police say Wesley Hall is also wanted on a warrant for theft out of Nashua.

A Nashua man was arrested early Jan. 11 for attempting to steal a bottle of wine from the 7-Eleven on Daniel Webster Highway, an act allegedly observed by an officer who'd driven to the store to pick the man up on a warrant out of Nashua.

Wesley Hall, 23, of 14 Wyndmere Drive, Apt. 14, Nashua, was charged with willful concealment.

Merrimack Police say Hall and a friend were walking near the Maple Ridge Apartment complex Friday at around 12:45 a.m. when officer Joseph Goodridge stopped to check on them. The two men were walking near the tree line approaching the 7-Eleven at 728 Daniel Webster Highway and Goodridge, after determining there was nothing suspicious going on, left them to continue walking.

However, when Goodridge returned to his cruiser and looked up the mens' names, he learned Hall had a warrant out of Nashua on a theft charge.

When Goodridge returned to the 7-Eleven he observed Hall place a bottle of wine inside his coat and make an attempt to leave the store, police say.
