Man Arrested for Robbing 3 at Gunpoint

Nashua Police: The man stopped three people in the early morning hours May 22 and demanded cash.

The Nashua Police Department arrested a local man May 23 for allegedly trying to rob three people at gunpoint the day before.

Police said the department's Special Reaction Team arrested Eric Baker, 41, of 36 Concord St., Apt. 1, Nashua, on the charge of robbery, a Class A felony.

Nashua police were called at about 1:20 a.m. on May 22 that a robbery had occurred in the intersection of Manchester and Concord streets. Three people reported that a man with a handgun, who was wearing a black baseball hat, glasses and black t-shirt, had stopped them and demanded money.

The man then fled without getting any cash.

Investigating officers later determined Baker was the suspect in question, and he was arrested at 9 p.m. May 23, according to police.

Baker was scheduled to be arraigned May 27 at the 9th Circuit Court in Nashua.

A Class A Felony is punishable by up to 15 years in prison.
