Man Charged for Assault with Clothes Hanger

David Baez was charged with two counts of second degree felony assault.

David Baez, 37, of 4 Foundry Street, Nashua, was arrested April 17, charged with two counts of second degree assault, a class B felony.

On April 11 Nashua Police received a report of an assault inside a Nashua residence of a girl younger than 13 who is known to Baez.

It was reported that Baez had allegedly struck the girl twice on her leg with a clothes hanger, causing bruising.

Youth Services Division was notified and enlisted the services of the Granite State Children’s Alliance. The Granite State Children’s Alliance is a non-profit organization that provides services to children who may be victims or witnesses of crime.

A class B felony is punishable by one to seven years imprisonment, exclusive of
fines. Baez was held at the Nashua Police Department on $5,000 cash/surety bail pending arraignment.
