Man Charged for Bruising Child with Belt
Police allege Paul A. Williams Jr. assaulted a child known to him under the age of 13.

Nashua Police Department Youth Services Division detectives arrested Paul A. Williams Jr., 18, of 11 Salem Street, Apt. B, Nashua, on March 17, charging him with second degree assault, a class B felony.
Williams allegedly struck a child known to him on the leg with a belt, causing bruising.
On March 16, 2013 at approximately 6:43 p.m. detectives received a report of an assault of a child, and a subsequent investigation by the Youth Services Division revealed that Williams was the person responsible for the assault.

It was reported that the suspect had struck the victim on the leg with a belt at a residence in Nashua, which resulted in bruises on the boy’s leg. A Class B Felony is punishable by 3 ½ to 7 years imprisonment, exclusive of fines.
Williams is being held on $2,000 cash or surety bail pending his arraignment at the 9th Circuit District Court Division on Monday, March 18, 2013.
