Jan. 4: All invited to 2026 City of Nashua Inauguration Ceremony (inklink.news) — Nashua residents are invited to the 2026 City of Nashua Inauguration Ceremony on Jan. 4 at 10 a.m. at the Nashua Center for the Arts on Main Street. Elected officials will be sworn in, Congresswoman Maggie Goodlander will officiate, and those who can’t attend can watch live on Nashua GovTV or online.
   

2. Aldermen pass legislation amending land use code relative to accessory dwelling units (inklink.news) — Nashua’s Board of Aldermen has updated the city’s land use code for accessory dwelling units to comply with new state rules, adjusting maximum sizes up to 980–1,200 square feet in some cases. Officials debated how limits affect affordable housing and neighborhood character, including concerns about Airbnbs and large homes adding rental units. These changes could impact how many residents use ADUs on their properties.

A Nashua High School graduate, she worked with several local organizations, including the Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter, and leaves behind children in Brookline and Nashua, as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A private burial is planned at Woodlawn Cemetery in Nashua.
