Man Charged with Firing Gun Following Baseball Bat Attack
Gregory Montejunas, a convicted felon, was also charged for being in possession of a gun.

Gregory Montejunas, 28, of 42 Milk St., Nashua, was arrested May 28 by Nashua Police on a number of charges stemming from an incident that began with an alleged baseball bat attack and ended with firing a gun.
Police responded to Montejunas' home at about 8 p.m. to investigate a disturbance. Montejunas became involved in an argument and physical confrontation with a man described by police as a co-worker. Montejunas reportedly struck the man several times with a baseball bat and also threatened the man with a firearm, which he allegedly fired into the ground near the man.
The victim did not require medical attention, police said.

Montejunas is a convicted felon thus prohibited from being in possession of firearm. Lastly, at the time of his arrest Montejunas was found in possession of a controlled drug, marijuana.
Members on the Nashua Police Department’s Criminal Division furthered investigated this incident and determined that Montejunas is to be charged with the following offenses:

First degree assault, a class A felony, convicted felons, class B felony, domestic violence: reckless conduct, class B felony, criminal threatening, class B felony, and possession of a controlled drug, class A misdemeanor.
Class A Felony is punishable by up to 15 years imprisonment, exclusive of fines A Class B Felony is punishable by up to seven years imprisonment, exclusive of fines. A Class A Misdemeanor is punishable by up to one year imprisonment, exclusive of fines. Montejunas is being held at the Nashua Police Department on $ 25,000 cash only bail and was scheduled to be arraigned in 9th Circuit Court, Nashua District Division on May 29, 2013
