Man Charged in July Death of Woman on Chestnut Street
Man charged with manslaughter and abuse of corpse in the July death of Christina Hill.

Daniel Burke, 51, of 23 Temple St., Nashua, was arrested Sept. 10 at 9:30 p.m. by Nashua Police, charged with manslaughter, two counts of falsifying physical evidence, and abuse of a corpse. The arrest comes as a result of an investigation into the death of Christina Hill, 32 Chestnut St., Apartment 15, Nashua.
Hill was found dead in her apartment on July 20, 2013.
The manslaughter complaint charges Burke with pushing Hill into a cabinet causing her to strike her head, resulting in injuries that caused her death. Burke is also charged with two counts of falsifying physical evidence and abuse of a corpse in relation to steps he took to try to conceal Hill's body. The counts allege Burke wrapped Hill’s body in plastic and wiped up blood or decomposition fluids with cleaning materials and discarded them. Hill was dead for about two weeks inside her apartment before police were notified of a suspicious odor within the building.
The NH Attorney General’s Office and the Hillsborough County Attorney’s Office assisted with this investigation.
