Man 'Demolishes' Fence at Hunt, Charged With DWI
After allegedly plowing down the fence at Hunt Community, Luis Barrera headed home in his damaged car.
A city man is charged with aggravated Driving While Intoxicated after crashing into a wrought iron fence on Allds Street and then allegedly leaving the scene.
Nashua Police said Luis Barrera, 21, of 82 Harbor Ave., was driving along Allds Street at about 6:20 p.m. on April 23 in a 1997 Honda Accord when he allegedly drove off the road, into the wrought iron fence that surrounds Hunt Community, hit some bushes, backed out of the bushes and then continued driving his car to Work Out World on Harbor Avenue, near his home.
Police said caught up with Barrera just before 7 p.m., as he was parking his car, which had obvious front end damage and a flat tire.

"I was told he 'demolished' the fence," said Nashua Police Sgt. Steve Sweeney, who said it appeared Barrera was parking his car and intended to walk home from the club parking lot.
Barrera was charged with conduct after an accident and aggravated driving while intoxicated.
