Man Killed In Single Vehicle Crash On Main Dunstable Road In Nashua

The fatal rollover accident early Sunday morning killed a 22-year-old man near Rene Drive; Nashua police are investigating.

NASHUA, NH — Nashua Fire, police, and AMR ambulance responded to a report of a vehicle that crashed and rolled over on Main Dunstable Road Sunday morning.

Responders arrived just after 2 a.m. and found a vehicle had left the roadway between Rene Drive and Conant Road.

Firefighters began extrication of the person entrapped in the vehicle that was heavily damaged and on its roof. They worked on extrication for about 30 minutes. A man was removed from the vehicle, could not be revived, and died at the scene.

According to sources, the vehicle was traveling on Main Dunstable Road and appeared to not negotiate the curve near Rene Drive and struck large rocks at the end of a driveway. The vehicle then rolled over onto its roof on the lawn of a house. The vehicle had New Hampshire plates.

Nashua Police said the driver was the sole occupant and was a 22-year-old man. No name has been released pending notification of family members.

At this time, it appears no other vehicles were involved, and the victim is in his twenties. No name has been released pending notification of family members.

The Nashua Police Department’s Collision Reconstruction Unit responded to the scene. Additionally, members of the Nashua Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division were assigned to further the investigation. At this time, it is unknown if drugs or alcohol contributed to this collision.
