Mass. Fugitive Arrested in Nashua

Derrick O'Neill was wanted on a warrant out of Massachusetts on domestic violence charges.

Derrick O'Neill, 32, no fixed address, was arrested April 4 by Nashua Police for being a fugitive from justice.

On April 4, 2013 at 5:45 a.m. Tyngsborough Police Officers responded to Village Lane in Tyngsborough for a reported domestic disturbance taking place.  Upon arrival officers were told by the victim that the alleged perpetrator, Derrick O'Neill, had fled into the woods with a knife.  At about 7:11 a.m. O'Neill was located walking on Daniel Webster Highway in Nashua where he was taken into custody outside a Nashua business by Tyngsborough and Nashua officers.

O'Neill is being held at the Nashua Police Department pending an arraignment on April 5, 2013 in the 9th Circuit Nashua District Division Court and extradition to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
