Dad Threatens Daughter's Victim, Gets Arrested, Too
William O'Neill is charged with threatening the woman who pressed charges against his daughter for theft.
A father and daughter from Massachusetts were arrested last week, both facing felony charges. Police say the daughter was arrested and charged April 10 with a Nashua theft, and the father was arrested six days later, for threatening his daughter's alleged victim, demanding she drop the charges.
According to police, in January of 2012 a theft was reported from a Nashua residence in excess $1,500. Meghan O’Neill, 30, of 11 Chestnut Road, Westford, Mass., who was known to the victim, was identified as the suspect. An arrest warrant was issued for Meghan O’Neill, who was taken into custody April 10.
Six days later William O’Neill, 54, of 400 Dunstable Road, Tyngsborough, Mass., was arrested, charged with tampering with witnesses and informants, a class B felony. William O'Neill is Meghan O'Neill's father.

Police say William O'Neill was charged for allegedly harassing the woman who his daughter is accused of stealing from. The victim told police she received a threatening phone call from William O’Neill, who demanded she drop the pending charges against Meghan O'Neill.
William O’Neill was charged with tampering with witnesses and informants, a class B felony, which is punishable up to seven years in prison. William O’Neill was held on $10,000 cash or surety bail pending an upcoming arraignment in the 9th Circuit Nashua District Division Court.

Meghan O'Neill was charged with theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, a class A felony, which is punishable by up to 15 years imprisonment, exclusive of fines. O’Neill was held on $10,000 cash or surety bail pending an upcoming arraignment in the 9th Circuit Nashua District Division Court.
