Submissions Wanted for Symphony NH Alphabet Book Project
Call for your contributions by May 15.

Symphony NH is undertaking a new project both as an ongoing fundraiser and as a tool to share the rich tapestry of Nashua facts, history and art, promoting the wide diversity of the community.
"N is for Nashua" will be a children’s alphabet book. Each letter will be represented by an interesting fact and illustrated with an original work of art by a local artist.
In order to identify the best fact submission for each letter, Symphony NH is sponsoring a community-wide contest, beginning immediately and ending on May 15. A team of community leaders, listed below, will determine a winner for each letter. These winners will be recognized in the book, receive a complimentary copy, and be invited to attend the book launch event in November. Announcement of each letter’s fact will be made in late May. Submissions will be taken online, and the following web page includes the submission form as well as guidelines for participating: http://symphonynh.org/community/n-is-for-nashua/.

Once the text winners have been selected, Symphony NH will make a call for art submissions to correspond to the subjects of each letter. For example, “M is for Mine Falls Park” might feature a watercolor of the landscape. This call for art will be in early June, and the deadline will extend until August 1.
