Nashua Apartment Fire: Family Homeless
Nashua firefighters extinguished a blaze at Bronstein Apartments.

NASHUA, NH — A fire at a Nashua apartment building Tuesday night left a family homeless, fire officials said. The fire broke out in a first-floor unit at Bronstein Apartments on Central Street at about 9:30 p.m. The fire started in a laundry room and extended to the kitchen, according to Nashua Deputy fire Chief George Walker. All five occupants escaped and were not hurt.
The apartment was rendered uninhabitable as there was "heavy fire damage" to the laundry room and kitchen, Walker said.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
