Nashua Chamber Event Helps Companies Keep Employees Safe From Violence
The Sept. 22 event will feature Blue U Self Defense, a company that teaches business leaders how to prevent or combat workplace violence.

NASHUA, NH —The Nashua Chamber of Commerce is hosting an event next month where business leaders can learn about preventing workplace violence and preparing their employees should violence occur.
The one-hour event will take place at 10 a.m. on Sept. 22 in the Lower Level Conference Room at the Nashua Public Library, 2 Court St. Those interested in attending can register online. Space is limited.
The event will be run by Blue U Self Defense, a company that is owned and operated by a veteran former police officer who helps business leaders develop a plan to keep their employees safe.

"Today's threats are unique, dangerous and everywhere," the company said in a statement. "You have a responsibility to care about the security of your employees and clients and a duty to ensure it.
"With more than 300+ qualified active shooter events already in 2022, it is perhaps more important than ever before that you have proper policies, procedures and training in place."
