Nashua Crime Sweep Nets 7, Police Say

NASHUA, NH -- Seven people were arrested in the latest Nashua Granite Shield crime sweep, police said Wednesday. The individuals (pictured above) were arrested Tuesday and charged with crimes ranging from selling heroin to prescription drug possession. The Granite Shield program is a state-funded initiative targeting criminal opioid distribution.

These were the individuals arrested Tuesday:

Cory Huard, 23, of Nashua, was charged with with selling heroin. He refused bail and was held in custody pending an arraignment.

Jay Landry, 41, of Manchester, was charged with suboxone possession. He refused bail and was held in custody pending an arraignment.

Nathaniel Ciardelli, 25, of Nashua, was arrested on a warrant for allegedly not appearing in court related to his prior arrest on a heroin possession charge. He was held without bail pending an arraignment.

Ulysses Mcmillan, 32, of Nashua, was arrested on a warrant for an alleged parole violation related to his prior arrest on a charge of smuggling drugs into prison. He was held without bail pending an arraignment.

Alex Evenson, 30, of Nashua, was charged with suboxone possession and released on bond pending an arraignment.

Ryan Bosco, 29, of Hudson, was arrested on a Hudson police warrant for allegedly selling heroin. He was released to the custody of Hudson police.

Fernando Alvarez, 30, of Nashua, was charged with heroin possession (second offense) and released on bond pending an arraignment.

It was the third Granite Shield crime sweep in Nashua this month. Combined, 24 people have been arrested.
