Nashua Drug Sweep Nets 9 Arrests
The latest Nashua police Granite Shield drug sweep netted multiple arrests -- most involving heroin.

NASHUA, NH -- The latest Nashua police drug sweep this week netted nine arrests. The sweep was conducted under the "Granite Shield" program, a state-funded initiative targeting criminal opioid distribution. The mugshots of the nine individuals can be found above. The sweep was conducted Tuesday and Wednesday, according to Nashua Police Captain James Testaverde.
These are the individuals arrested:
David Hanson, 28, of Keene, was charged with heroin and crack cocaine possession. Police said they found him with more than 10 grams of heroin. He was held without bail pending an arraignment.

Jesse Reale, 35, of Keene, was charged with heroin and crack cocaine possession. Police said they found him with about 10 grams of heroin. He was held without bail pending an arraignment.
Jose De Los Santos, 22, of Waterbury, Connecticut, was charged with selling heroin and selling crack cocaine (both second offense). Police said they found him with $1,800 in suspected drug profits. He was held with bail pending an arraignment.

Jose Valverde-Bueno, 34, of Waterbury, Connecticut, was charged with liability to the sale of heroin and crack cocaine. He was held without bail pending an arraignment.
Rodolfo Santos, 28, of Nashua, was charged with oxycodone possession and released on bond pending an arraignment.
Andrea Bailey, 35, of Nashua, was charged with heroin distribution with intent to distribute (about 20 grams), selling methamphetamine and suboxone possession. Police said she was found with $1,400 in suspected drug profits. She was held without bail.
Julie Carder, 33, of Nashua, was charged with two counts of selling crack cocaine and released on bond pending an arraignment.
Calvin Rioux, 30, of Nashua, was charged with heroin possession (second offense) and released on bond pending an arraignment.
Joshua Surprenant, 27, of Nashua, was charged with heroin possession and two counts of resisting arrest. She was released on bond pending an arraignment.
Police said anyone with information about illegal drug activity can contact their narcotics hotline at 603-594-3597.
It was the second Granite Shield sweep this month. On October 5, police arrested eight individuals. Last month, police arrested 25 people in four Granite Shield sweeps.
