NFR Deputy Chief Kerrigan described the situation as a potentially defective valve on a large tank which had recently been filled. Kerrigan said the propane company was notified, and NFR mitigated the hazard. It does not appear the propane tank was hit, and it was defective equipment that was responsible for the issue.
