Nashua Firefighters Respond To Kitchen Fire On Holmes Street
Nashua Fire Rescue responded to a reported building fire on Holmes Street which appears to have been caused by grease catching on fire.
NASHUA, NH — Nashua Fire Rescue responded to a multi-unit building on Holmes Street for a reported building fire around 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
On the arrival of the first engine, it was reported there was smoke on the second floor. Firefighters located a fire on a stove which extended into the cabinets.
The fire was extinguished and firefighters utilized fans to eject the smoke from the apartment.

Deputy Chief Glen MacDonald said residents would be able to be returned to their apartments. The fire was limited to the kitchen area of a single apartment.
