Nashua Granite Shield Sweep Nets 8: Police

Nashua police said eight individuals were arrested in the latest Granite Shield crime sweep targeting opioid distribution.

NASHUA, NH -- Eight individuals were arrested in the latest Nashua Granite Shield crime sweep, police announced Friday. The sweep was conducted Wednesday and Hudson police assisted. It was the fifth such crime sweep in Nashua over the last month. Last month, police said they arrested 25 individuals in four sweeps.

These were the individuals arrested Wednesday:

Daniel Frost, 27, of Berlin, was charged with heroin possession (second offense) and released on bond.

Johnny Reyes, 22, of Nashua, was charged with selling heroin (second offense) and refused bail.

Miranda Mello, 23, of Nashua, was charged with two counts of drug possession and one count of theft. She was released on bond.

Anthony Clark, 22, with no fixed address, was charged with selling cocaine (second offense) and held without bail.

Ashley Silva, 32, of Nashua, was charged with three counts of drug possession and released on bond.

Chad Silver, 35, with no fixed address, was arrested on a warrant out of Hillsborough Superior Court and released on bond.

Michael Levesque, 32, of Hudson, was charged with transporting drugs in a vehicle and released on bond.

Esteban Nunez, 33, of Nashua, was charged with selling marijuana and released on $1,000 bond.

The Granite Shield program is a state-funded initiative targeting opioid distribution in communities across the state. Police said anyone with information about illegal drug activity can contact their narcotics hotline at 603-594-3597.
