Nashua Man Accused Of Knife Threat, Assault On Family

Nashua police said Darren Gentile assaulted a family member and threatened another individual with a knife.

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua man was arrested on charges he assaulted a family member and threatened another with a knife, police announced Monday. In a statement, Nashua police Lieutenant Robert Page said Darren Gentile, 20, was arrested Saturday night.

"The Nashua Police Department was notified of a domestic assault that had taken place at a home in Nashua," Page said. "The victims, who were known to Gentile, reported that Gentile had assaulted one of them and threatened another with a knife."

Gentile was charged with second-degree assault and criminal threatening — domestic violence-related. Both charges are felonies. Gentile was held on $30,000 bail pending an arraignment Monday in Hillsborough County Superior Court.
