Nashua Man Accused Of Fatally Stabbing Woman On Kinsley Street

Miguel Ramirez, 30, was arrested on a second-degree murder charge, accused of stabbing Julie Graichen to death in an apartment Friday.

NASHUA, NH — NH Attorney General John M. Formella and Nashua Police Chief Kevin Rourke said Sunday an arrest had been made in a homicide investigation that began in Nashua on Friday.

Miguel Ramirez, 30, of Nashua, was arrested on one count of second-degree murder for knowingly causing the death of Julie Graichen, 34, by stabbing her to death.

Nashua police, firefighters, and AMR ambulance responded to a multi-unit apartment building at 13 Kinsley St. for an unresponsive woman on Friday. Sources indicated the woman was found deceased, and an investigation began. Nashua detectives worked Friday and Saturday at the scene, and through their investigation, Ramirez was arrested and accused of the murder.

Police investigated two unrelated homicides on Friday in Nashua. On Friday morning, Lee Knoetig, 53, was fatally shot outside of the Sunoco Station on Amherst Street. He died at the scene and police later arrested 19-year-old Alexander Wheeler.

It is anticipated that Ramirez and Wheeler will be arraigned in Hillsborough County Superior Court in Nashua on Monday at a time to be scheduled by the court.

Unrelated to the Nashua homicides, three people were murdered in Northfield on Wednesday. Kassandra Sweeney, 25, and two children were killed. There have been no arrests in the Northfield murders, but police say all people involved have been identified.
