Nashua Man Charged In Connection With Pheasant Lane Mall Armed Robbery

NASHUA, NH —A Nashua man was arrested on Saturday night in connection with an armed robbery at Pheasant Lane Mall, according to the Nashua Police Department.

Reinaldo Ramos Jr., 32, was charged with armed robbery with a firearm, a Class A felony, felonious use of firearms and two counts of possession of a controlled drug, the latter two are Class B felonies, authorities said.

A Class A felony is punishable by up to 15 years in state prison, exclusive of fines, and a Class B felony is punishable by up to 7 years in state prison, exclusive of fines.

Authorities said Ramos was held on $1,000 cash bail at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections, and he was due to be arraigned in Hillsborough County Superior Court-South on Monday.

According to police reports, at approximately 8:38 p.m. Saturday, members of the Nashua Police Department's Uniformed Field Operations Bureau responded to a call about a person threatening people with a firearm at a business in the mall, which is located at 310 Daniel Webster Hwy.

At the scene, witnesses said the suspect had displayed a firearm and fled with merchandise, according to police.

The NPD said its officers were able to locate the suspect nearby and take him into custody.

Following the arrest, the suspect also was found to be in possession of two different quantities of a controlled substance, police said.
