Nashua Man Charged With Selling Crack Cocaine: Police

Ronald Newman was arrested Tuesday on felony drug charges. He was released on bail and will be arraigned at a later date.

NASHUA, NH —A Nashua man was arrested Tuesday and charged with selling crack cocaine, the Nashua Police Department said.

Ronald Newman, 52, was charged with three counts of sale of a controlled drug, which is a special felony, according to the department.

Authorities said Newman was released on personal recognizance bail and will be arraigned in Hillsborough County Superior Court-Southern District at a later, yet-to-be-determined date.

According to the NPD, Newman was arrested by the department's Problem Oriented Policing Unit. The department said its Narcotics Intelligence Division began an investigation into Newman and learned the suspect was involved in the selling of illicit narcotics within Nashua.

The NPD said that citizens with information about illegal drug activity are urged to contact the department's Narcotics Hotline at 603-594-3597 or utilize the Nashua Police Department's website.
