Nashua Man Charged With Sexually Assaulting Adult Female Acquaintance
Austin Westcott was arrested Wednesday in connection with an alleged sexual assault this past spring. He was released on $300 cash bail.

NASHUA, NH —A Nashua man was arrested Wednesday afternoon and charged with sexually assaulting an adult female acquaintance this past spring, the Nashua Police Department said.
Austin Westcott, 26, was taken into custody by the NPD's Uniform Field Operations Bureau at approximately 4:07 p.m. police said. The suspect was charged with aggravated felonious sexual assault, which is a special felony, according to authorities.
A special felony, according to the NPD, is punishable up to the decided term of imprisonment, exclusive of fines.

Westcott, who was released on $300 cash bail, is scheduled to be arraigned at the Hillsborough County Superior Court South on September 29, authorities said.
According to police reports, on March 31, the NPD's Uniform Field Operations Bureau received a report that the suspect had sexually assaulted an adult female acquaintance at his residence.

The NPD said an investigation was conducted by the department's Special Investigations Division.
Based on the results of the investigation, a warrant was issued for Westcott's arrest, police said.
