Nashua Mother Who Ran Fentanyl Ring Gets 2 Years In Prison
Nashua police said Gale Doiron helped her son, Neil, run a fentanyl dealing operation busted in an undercover sting.

CONCORD, NH -- A Nashua mother convicted of helping her son run a fentanyl ring was sentenced to 2 years in prison Friday. Gale Doiron, 61, admitted to helping her son, Neil, 39, run the drug dealing operation. Police said they found the duo with fentanyl, heroin, cocaine, oxycodone and five guns. All the drugs and guns were seized.
"Individuals who assist in the trafficking of fentanyl should expect to be arrested, prosecuted and incarcerated," U.S. Attorney Scott Murray said in a statement after Doiron's sentencing in federal court in Concord. "Each sale of this dangerous drug has the potential to end a human life, so each case must be treated with the utmost seriousness. I commend the work of the Nashua Police Department and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration in bringing this defendant to justice."
Doiron and her son were arrested in December 2016 during a Nashua "Granite Hammer" drug sweep. Neil Doiron pleaded guilty to fentanyl trafficking last year.
