Nashua Players Among Top MLB Draft Prospects

Nashua North graduate Kevin McGowan gets a nod from WMUR sports reporter Kevin Gray, in a round-up of top prospects for the MLP Draft, which begins today.

McGowan, playing for Franklin Pierce University, fade 13 starts, going 7-2 with a 3.20 ERA and 60 strikeouts, and has the "tools to develop into a workhorse professional starter," according to WMUR's scouting report. You can read the full story here.

The MLB draft starts today and runs through Saturday, consisting of 40 rounds in all.
