Nashua Police Arrest 3 Sex Offenders

Nashua police said three registered sex offenders were arrested for not completing or updating their registration information.

NASHUA, NH — Nashua police arrested three sex offenders after they failed to complete or update their registration information, authorities announced Wednesday. Arrested were Randolph Leroy, 28, of Manchester; Arthur Marcotte, 50, of Nashua; and Shawn Chase, 35, of Nashua.

Leroy was convicted of sexual assault in Hillsborough County Superior Court in 2009, which requires him to register as a sex offender for 10 years. He was charged with felony duty to report after he failed to complete his semi-annual registration, according to Nashua police Lieutenant Robert Page Page. He was released on $250 bond pending an arraignment March 15.

Marcotte was convicted of sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child in Hillsborough County Superior Court in 2006, which requires him to register as a sex offender the rest of his life. He was charged with felony after allegedly failing to complete his semi-annual registration.

Chase was convicted of violation of privacy in Milford District Court in 2015, which requires him to register as a sex offender the rest of his life. He was charged with duty to inform after he allegedly moved out of a Nashua address and failed to notify police.

All suspects were released on $200 bond pending an arraignment March 15, Page said.
