Nashua Police Citizens Academy Celebrates 30th Graduation
Nashua police host a free Citizens Academy every fall detailing the inner workings of the department; 28 citizens graduated this week.

NASHUA, NH -- Nashua police completed their 30th Citizens Academy Tuesday and 28 residents were recognized during graduation. The free academy is offered every fall as a way to connect with the community. The nine-week program features speakers, including Police Chief Andrew Lavoie, who detail the inner workings of the department.
"Thank you to all that attended we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did," police said in a statement.
The classes detailed the department's K-9 unit, SWAT team and relationship with the court system.
