Nashua Police Seek Recruits

Nashua police and Nashua Community College will host a recruitment event March 7.

NASHUA, NH — Nashua police and Nashua Community College will host a "first of its kind" recruitment event next week. It will be held Wednesday, March 7 at 5 p.m. at Nashua Community College.

“It is targeted toward Criminal Justice students or anyone interested in pursuing a career in Law Enforcement,” said David Dinwoodie, NCC's criminal justice program coordinator, in a statement.

Nashua police Officer Michael Dore will attend.

“Officer Dore will provide information about applying and submitting a resume to a law enforcement agency, the written entrance exam, physical fitness standards and agility testing, participating in an oral board interview, undergoing a background investigation, pre-employment polygraph examinations, as well as the required psychological evaluation and medical examination,” Dinwoodie said. The presentation will cover the entire hiring process, and will include a question and answer session."

He added, “This is a valuable opportunity to gain information and insight into this process. This will be the first of its kind event here at NCC.”
