Nashua Schools Rated, Ranked By Education Platform Niche

NASHUA, NH — Niche, an education platform, published its new 2023 Best Schools and Districts rankings on Tuesday.

Now in its ninth year, the rankings include updated data for 92,743 public schools, 30,112 private schools, and 11,820 school districts nationwide, according to Niche.

Among the local highlights: Nashua School District's highest-ranked elementary school in the state is Bicentennial (No. 60) and Nashua South and Nashua North are ranked No. 6 and No. 19 respectively on the list of Best College Prep Public High Schools in the state.

Niche said its rankings differ from others that rely almost exclusively on test scores and academic performance in that it also includes input from students, alumni and parents, as well as quantitative data from sources such as the U.S. Department of Education to evaluate teachers, resources and facilities.

The education platform said its rankings were created to provide families with valuable information — both quantitative and qualitative — on schools in their area or in a neighborhood they're not familiar with yet.

Nashua School District received an overall grade of B and was ranked No. 23 of 76 on the list of 2023 Best School Districts In New Hampshire.

Middle Schools: There are 148 schools ranked on the list of Best Public Middle Schools In New Hampshire.

• Fairgrounds: C+, ranking not listed

High Schools: There are 90 schools ranked on the list of Best Public High Schools in New Hampshire.
