Nashua Sex Offender Arrested

Nashua police said William Thomas, convicted of sexual assault in 2010, missed his registration.

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua sex offender was arrested Thursday and accused of failing to register with police, authorities announced. William Thomas, 36, was charged with felony duty to report. He is required to register as a sex offender the rest of his life, based on the terms of the conviction.

In a statement, Nashua police Lieutenant Robert Page said Thomas missed his semi-annual registration.

"It was also discovered Thomas Jr. failed to report a change to his Sex Offender Registration," Page added.

Thomas was released on $290 bond pending an arraignment March 8. He was convicted of on another duty to report charge in Manchester in 2012.
