Nashua Sex Offender Arrested

Nashua police said Jeffrey Allen, required to register as a sex offender the rest of his life, failed to update information.

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua sex offender was arrested Monday on a theft warrant and also charged with failing to update his registration information, according to police. Jeffrey Allen, 51, with no fixed address, was convicted of sexual assault in 2000 in Rockingham County Superior Court and he is required to register as a sex offender the rest of his life.

In a statement, Nashua police Lieutenant Robert Page said Allen "failed to report a change to his information as required." He was subsequently charged with duty to inform, a felony. Allen was previously convicted of duty to inform in Manchester in 2017.

Allen was held at the Valley Street Jail on $25,000 bail pending an arraignment Tuesday.
