Nashua Woman ID'd In Fatal 100 MPH Crash

Police said Rebecca Savoie, of Nashua, drove 100 mph the wrong way and struck Noah Martin, 21, of Hudson -- killing them both.

CHELMSFORD, MA -- Police on Tuesday identified a Nashua woman who drove 100 mph the wrong way on Route 3 Monday and struck a 21-year-0ld Hudson man -- killing them both. Rebecca Savoie was 42 years old. The Hudson victim was identified as Noah Martin, according to Massachusetts State Police.

The crash happened at about 1:30 a.m. on the northbound side of the highway. Savoie was driving a Nissan Altima sedan against traffic and slammed into a Dodge Avenger sedan driven by Martin. Savoie was pronounced dead at the scene. Martin was transported to Lowell General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

"The crash remains under investigation," Massachusetts State Police said Thursday.
