Nashua's U-Haul Moving and Storage Adds 600 New Self-Storage Rooms

NASHUA, NH — U-Haul Moving and Storage has completed the expansion of one of its Nashua locations, adding 600 self-storage rooms with high-tech security features, the company announced Tuesday.

The self-storage rooms at the Nashua facility, located at 476 Amherst St., are available for rent and feature individual alarms and climate-control options.

The 7.2-acre property now features a two-story 76,000-square-foot building with a retail showroom, a warehouse for U-Box portable storage containers and a drive-in bay for professional hitch installation, according to the company.

Customers of the facility also have access to truck and trailer sharing, moving supplies and boxes, bike racks and hitch accessories and 24/7 remote self-storage access.

"This expansion enables us to serve a growing Nashua community," said Brian Picanco, U-Haul Company of New Hampshire president. "We are providing a one-stop shop for the moving and storage needs of our neighbors."

Picanco continued: "The best part is that we will fill the property's entire seven acres to serve more customers and at a lower cost. We are investing in Nashua, and this community can have peace of mind knowing that a recognized industry leader is here to stay."

In addition to the expansion at the Amherst St. facility, U-Haul is in the process of adding another 63 units to a remotely operated Nashua location at 11 Northwest Blvd.
