One Marathon Bomb Suspect Dead, One Still at Large

Overnight manhunt in Watertown, Mass., following a deadly shooting at MIT.

One of two suspects wanted in connection with the Monday Boston Marathon bombings is reportedly dead and a second suspect is on the run as Massachusetts police working with federal authorities spent last night in pursuit, going door-to-door.

Shortly after 1 a.m. a chain of events unfolded leading to the shooting death of an MIT police officer. Two suspects fled the scene. One was reportedly killed a short time later in a gunfire exchange with police. The second man, identified as "suspect two" pictured wearing a white baseball cap from earlier police reports, is still at large.

Currently the Watertown neighborhood has been warned to "shelter indoors"  after reports that undetonated explosives may still be on the ground. The situation is described as "grave" by Boston Police.
