Public Hearing April 16 on Expanded Gaming
Public is invited to Concord to share with lawmakers what impact you believe gambling would have to your community.

CONCORD- A public hearing is set for Tuesday April 16 at 10 a.m. on SB 152, a bill sent over from the Senate on expanded gaming. The hearing will be held in Representatives Hall of the State House and should be available to view online via this link to the General Court website.
On the beginning of the process of halding SB 152, Joint Committee Chairwoman Mary Jane Wallner said:
“On Tuesday we will hold a public hearing on SB 152, giving the community an opportunity to provide us with feedback on how they think expanded gambling will impact their communities and our state as a whole. We look forward to hearing from the public before we begin work sessions on the bill.”

On Wednesday, April 17, the Joint Committee will convene in Room 210-211 of the Legislative Office Building at 10 a.m. to hear expert testimony and discuss the process and focus for each of the subcommittees. The subcommittees will be announced prior to Wednesday’s meeting.
